| Guatemala Mission |
The Guatemala Mission Project is working with a group called Common Hope that aids children, and through them, their families, to help educate them and give them futures.
Several Trinity members chose to sponsor children individually, and their pictures are hanging on the bulletin board outside the Parish Hall.
Read their stories - they are living in grinding poverty (an iron is considered a major family asset).
A child who is being assisted must stay in school to continue receiving funds for his or her family.
We are sponsoring several more children as a parish.
We have put together a fund to contribute collectively.
If you would like to join our effort, can you pledge a few dollars a month to help a child?
Each child sponsored is $60 per month, so if many people put a few dollars in, we can take care of several more children and their families.
If you can pledge to our mission, send your donations to Trinity Episcopal Church or drop them by the church office.
If you pledge, we will get you marked envelopes for that purpose.
Trinity is collecting
various school items needed
to help support our Guatemala friends! When you go shopping please keep the children in mind.
GUATEMALA VISION TEAM
Join the Guatemala Vision Team for First Sunday Breakfast on June 1 at 9 AM.
Share with Vision Team Members their memories of the sponsored children visits and learn how we can sponsor more children.
Hand made items from Guatemala, such as water bottle covers, small pocket books and book marks will be for sale.
See exciting details of their February adventures through a Pwer Point Presentation.
Breakfast will include a Breakfast Casserole with accompaniments that might be served in Guatemala.
If you can't make breakfast, the power point presentation and sale will be repeated at Coffee Hour after the 10 AM service.
