“We welcome your partnership. Thank you for allowing God to use you in His great healing. Angel Tree is most effective in changing the lives of prisoners’ children with the Gospel when churches minister to the children throughout the year.” — Mark Earley, President, Prison Fellowship

Ministries: Missions and Outreach

“Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, No feet but yours; yours are the eyes through which to look at Christ’s compassion to the world, yours are the feet with which he is to go about doing good, and yours are the hands with which he is to bless us now.”
St. Teresa of Avila
Members of Missions and Outreach Ministry raise our consciousness as they tirelessly collect, fund raise and serve those in need. Every cake that’s made for a bake sale and every fellowship supper helps hungry children, isolated adults, and families in crises in Branford, New Haven and Guatemala. They know our love and we know more of God’s love.
Generous outpourings of food, goods and school supplies result in thousands of canned goods going to the feed the hunger in the local communities. We support the Branford Community Dining Room, Branford Food Council, CT Food Bank and In-home Hospice Care Program.
“We see an increase in families requiring help. We are thankful for those who make their lives better.”
— Jay Webb, President, Branford Food Council
Trinity has supported the Branford Food Council for more than 25 years, helping to feed between 90 to 125 families each month.
Trinity volunteers serve food to over 75 clients of Columbus House Homeless Shelter, New Haven each month. Trinity is the longest, continuing organization to support this ministry. Volunteers also regularly serve breakfast in the Branford Community Dining Room.
170 lbs of school supplies, toothbrushes and toothpaste went to children in Guatemala, who are sponsored by our partner, Common Hope.
Tagless Tag Sales offered new or gently used household items, seasonal clothing, and personal items. They occur twice each year and we invite families in need from our community to shop for free, thanks to the generous donations from our church community members.
“I cannot express the impact donations such as yours have on our struggling neighbors in Branford. One family was able to have their electric service restored and others were able to receive oil deliveries that they otherwise would not have received.”
— Marlowe Ioime, Assistant Director, Branford Fuel Bank
