“When my mother died it was my first adult experience of losing a family member. Trinity’s clergy and lay leaders stepped in and became part of my family and my team of professionals all in one. I received amazing spiritual support and guidance in handling her cremation and particularly her memorial service. I was overwhelmed by the extraordinary kindness and help.” — Perdita Norwood

Giving Treaure: Memorials and Gifts

Memorials and Gifts
There are several options when you give a gift of money or stock in memory of a loved one or any other occasion. It is important to indicate whether your gift is unrestricted or restricted to a specific use on the memo line of your check. All checks should be made payable to Trinity Church.
Memorial & Gifts Restricted Funds
This option allows you to specify a particular purpose for your gift, such as a specific item the church needs or general restoration. Current projects include:
- Stained Glass Window Fund. The window above the front doors is in great need of repair and restoration. This fund was begun by Rev. Archibald Hanna who was a deacon at Trinity for many years.
- Elevator Fund. An elevator is needed between the main floor and the undercroft (below ground level) in order to give everyone equal access to all activities and facilities.
- Church Vestment Fund. Altar cloths and clergy vestments are costly, and eventually need replacement. Such is the case with our 75- year old purple vestments.
