Rachel Pinti
Assistant for Early Spiritual Education and Families Ministry
In 2023, Rachel Pinti made the big move from Buffalo, NY to New Haven, CT to attend seminary at Yale. She is seeking ordination to the priesthood in the Episcopal Church.
In 2024, Rachel served as Trinity’s Seminarian Intern, which involved liturgically and pastorally integrating herself into the life of the parish through serving, preaching, and shadowing.
In 2025, Rachel was asked to stay at Trinity as the “Assistant for Early Spiritual Education and Families Ministry.” This role involves drafting Sunday lesson plans and student programming that fit the needs of each of Trinity’s youths, guiding families through the various sacraments of the Church, and simply being present to the unique gifts and challenges that come with being a child, a parent, or in relationship with others.
She says, “Working with Trinity's youths has been an honor and a privilege. While I'd like to think the youths learn something from me, the truth is I learn much more from them. Each child models the kind of uniqueness, kindness, humor, talent, and aptitude for service that many adults (including myself) strive for.”
Rachel also recognizes that children are nourished best when their parents are nourished, too. She says, “Please know that I am available to you and your family for any inquiry, suggestion, or conversation (especially if it's over coffee!). Trinity's families are in my daily prayers, and if you or your family is among them, then the Church is better for it.”
